We have always placed great importance on health and safety, within our doors and around our neighborhood. On a regular basis, we have continuously monitored updated protocols on hygiene and cleaning.

The COVID-19 pandemic has required us to raise our already elevated bar on the safety and cleanliness efforts within our spaces. We have outlined these new initiatives for you to ensure that you feel at ease and confident when you walk through our doors again. We will work meticulously to execute these ongoing initiatives. This is our promise to you.

Our promise is that we are here to welcome you back to our safe and clean environment, when you are ready to return. We are retraining our staff on new regulations and taking advanced precautions to ensure your utmost safety. We have researched and educated ourselves on CDC and WHO recommendations.

  • Rooms will remain isolated for 72 hours after departure
  • Rooms inspected by management and sealed with the Hugo Promise stamp

NYC Travel Guidelines

Subject to change without notice according to official regulations

For travelers who were in another state for more than 24 hours:

  • They must obtain a test within three days of departure from that state.
  • The traveler must, upon arrival in New York, quarantine for three days.
  • On day four of their quarantine, the traveler must obtain another COVID test. If both tests come back negative, the traveler may exit quarantine early upon receipt of the second negative diagnostic test.

For travelers who were in another state for less than 24 hours:

  • The traveler does not need a test prior to their departure from the other state, and does not need to quarantine upon arrival in New York State.
  • However, the traveler must fill out New York's traveler form upon entry into the state, and take a COVID diagnostic test four days after their arrival in New York.
